It’s here, it’s time, for one of my favorite long weekends of the year - the New York Summer Sling regional stage combat workshop. I’ve been involved with the Sling since 2016 and it’s always rewarding to help facilitate learning for a group of enthusiastic students with a wide variety of teachers, where I myself get to learn so much about teaching and learning styles in addition to specific fight skills.
This year I’m the assistant coordinator for the workshop, which means I’m in charge of our incredible team of assistant staff. I can’t wait to get started!
